No, while the armor inserts are optional and removable, we highly suggest that if you ride you also include armor - we encourage our community to ride safe as possible. Please note our armor is sold separately to the jacket, so please take that into consideration when making your purchase and add them on if you wish to use them.

While other brands may potentially fit, we cannot guarantee this nor make any assurances for the efficacy of other armor. Our pockets are specifically designed to fit our own Republk armor with precision, so that there is minimal unwanted movement of pieces while in motion for maximum protection.

Our armor is designed to be both flexible and protective - you will need to fold them a bit to get them into their respective pockets. Make sure the armor is not too cold (room temperature or above) as they get more stiff if they are very cold. It may take some time to get them in because our pockets are tailored specifically for a precise fit and minimal shifting while riding to ensure you're safe and not distracted by any armor displacement.

All of our armor inserts are EN1621 certified (type I and II), meaning it passes the rigorous EU certifications used worldwide for best-in-class protective gear.

We use a new type of PU Foam material which has properties similar to Non-Newtoninan fluid, as in it is soft and pliable in its normal state but upon impact the molecules gather together quickly and harden instantly. In addition, on impact a large number of hydrogen bonds between the molecules will temporarily separate which consumes a lot of energy and thereby dissipating much of the impact with it. The armour then returns to it's default state after impact and does not stay rigid.

No, at the moment we only carry men's jackets. We'd love to hear from the women community if that's something you'd be interested in! If we create a women's line we want to make sure it's tailored properly (and safely) for riding and daily wear. We don't recommend wearing men's jackets for riding, although they can totally still be bought as an oversize statement piece if you wish.

We are a small business and community so it can takes us up to ~1 week to fulfill and ship your order but after that regular shipping times apply (based on the shipping options you've selected). We typically ship out on Mondays. If you have any concerns with your order you can email us here or track your package directly using your tracking number.

If you are referring to shipping to the U.S., if your total order is less than $800USD, there is a de minimis exemption on duties in place currently so they should not affect your order, although we cannot make assurances on behalf of U.S. import customs.

That being said, while we make every effort to make shipping as seamless as possible, due to the current unpredictable nature and climate of shipping duties and tariffs, you will be responsible for any additional unexpected surcharges imposed by your government agency. If you experience any significant issues (item withheld, customs delays, etc.) you can always email us and we will do our best to work with you to get you your order!

Yes, we do take returns however they need to be in the condition they were bought in, with all tags still intact and unworn. If you need to return you can email us here and we will reply with specific return instructions. Please include in the subject line "return" and your order number when you email us.
